Summary:
Volunteers Needed for Clinical Research Study on Female Sexual Arousal Disorder
Are you struggling with reduced or no interest in intimacy accompanied by decreased sexual arousal or pleasure during sexual activity? You may be eligible to participate in a 16-week study that could improve your symptoms and lead to the advancement of treatment for women in the future.
You May Qualify if You:
- Are a woman between 40 and 65 years of age
- Received a hysterectomy at least 6 months ago
- Have not experienced a period in at least a year
- Engaged in sexual activity* at least twice per month in the last 6 months and plan to continue this level of activity for the duration of the study
*any activity that may result in sexual pleasure
Participation Includes:
- Daily intake of study medication or placebo
- Up to 7 visits to the research site for study procedures
- Completion of daily diary entries
Qualified Participants May Receive:
By participating, you will:
- Receive regular assessments by study staff at no cost
- Be compensated for time and travel
- Contribute to the advancement of medicine
