This study is testing the safety and effectiveness of Amphora®, a new, investigational, non-hormonal form of birth control that is to be used up to 1 hour before sex.
The birth control is believed to work by maintaining the pH of the vagina in order to prevent sperm mobility and preventing sperm from reaching an egg.
 

If you join the study, your participation time will be 7 menstrual cycles with three study visits plus a phone call with the study team. In addition, you will have on fnal visit about 14 to 30 days after your last cycle
 


Qualified Participants Must:

• Be between 18 and 35 years of age
• Be sexually active, at risk of pregnancy, and desiring contraception
• Have been in a steady relationship with the same man for at least 3 months


Qualified Participants May Receive:

  • You will receive study medications and medical tests at no cost to you.
  • Compensation for time and travel.
