Summary:

If you or a loved one has COPD, you may be interested in this clinical research study performed at Baylor College of Medicine. This study is testing the benefits of an investigational drug in reducing lung complications in people with COPD.


Qualified Participants Must:

• Have a diagnosis of COPD (sometimes called emphysema or chronic bronchitis)
• Have a history of COPD flare up (exacerbation) in the past year
• Be 40 years of age or older
• Be former or current cigarette smokers Participation will also depend on other requirements


Qualified Participants May Receive:

Study drug and study-related medical care at no charge. Reimbursement for time and travel. Health insurance is not necessary to participate.
