Summary:

Are you a healthy adult (age between 40 and 60 inclusively) or an adult patient having Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease (COPD) / Chronic Bronchitis/Emphysema and quit smoking after a heavy smoking history of 20 pack-years?

A clinical research study is being conducted at Baylor College of Medicine Airways Clinical Research Center and you may be eligible if you would like to participate in a clinical research study. Compensation will also be provided for time and travel. Health insurance is not necessary to participate.


Qualified Participants Must:

• Be between 40 and 60 years of age
• Be a healthy ex-smoker OR have COPD/ chronic bronchitis or emphysema


Qualified Participants May Receive:

Study procedures and lung evaluation at no cost. Compensation for time and travel.
