1. How would you rate your level of satisfaction with regard to price?

84% of respondents were very pleased while 12% were moderately pleased and 4% were mildly pleased. Here are some selected answers:

2. How would you rate your level of satisfaction with patient recruitment overall?

88% of respondents were very pleased while 12% of respondents were moderately pleased. Here are some selected answers:

  • Lawrence Feld, M.D., Horizon Clinical Research Associates: Good response rate.
  • Kay Vasden, Tampa Medical Group: Very satisfied
  • Val Davis, Delta Waves: Good, we get a couple of people a week on average that are interested in the study.

3. For what conditions or illnesses do you feel we were GOOD at recruiting patients for?

Conditions listed included fibromyalgia, rheumatoid arthritis, cholesterol, hypertension, diabetes, sinusitis, gout, insomnia, depression, anxiety, among others. Here are some selected answers:

  • Kellie Harden, San Diego Clinical Research Center: It is good for studies that are difficult to enroll and for conditions that are hard to treat.
  • Kay Vasden, Tampa Medical Group: The responses were about equal in proportion to other media we have used per each therapeutic area. Studies that have a high level of interest (sexual dysfunction and fibromyalgia) had many more inquiries and difficult problems to treat (Rheumatoid Arthritis) while any condition that has many treatment options and which many prior treatments would exclude you (Osteoporosis) had less response.

4. What do you feel are the best features of our patient recruitment?

  • Kathy Hann, DMI Research: Easy to post [studies] on-line, seems to produce results
  • Sara Mast, Clinical Trials North Houston: Big database - got lots of patients replying
  • Laurie Endean, Medical Research of Arizona: Web sites have become a way for people to get information quickly and conveniently. People that are interested in participating in clinical trials can find out what is available and leave their names in a quick and convenient manner.
  • Lawrence Feld, M.D., Horizon Clinical Research Associates: Easy to post study. Reasonably priced. Good response rate.
  • Kay Vasden, Tampa Medical Group: Easy to use, tracks patient inquiries, shows other trials in the area, cost effective.

5. Have the employees been helpful to you when you have had a question or a problem?

100% of respondents were satisfied with the client support team at ClinicalConnection.com. Here are some selected answers:
